SuperValu and Centra owner Musgrave said today that prices on Kerrygold butter products it stocks will be reduced across its stores nationwide.
Musgrave said the reductions, worth up to 9% across the Kerrygold range, will deliver savings of up to 50 cent on Kerrygold products.
This will see a range of Kerrygold branded butter products reduce from €5.49 to €4.99 and from €3.29 to €2.99.

Bisher habe ich nie geglaubt, daß es Kerrygold überhaupt in Irland gibt. Habe das für einen Werbetrick im deutschen Lebensmittelmarkt gehalten. Es gibt ein deutsches Werk in Moers, das "original" irische Butter herstellt. Allerdings sind die Milchtransporter, die vielleicht Rohprodukte anliefern, auf den Straße eher nicht wahrnehmbar.
In Deutschland ist grade Butterschwemme, oder was auch immer. Jedenfalls gibt es nicht-irische Butter für 0,99€ pro 250-Gramm-Stück.
