This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Multi National Company in a fast past and dynamic market place. You will assist the Solution Centre that validates performance/scalability and product behaviour and will provide support for pre-sales customer product/solution demonstrations, proof of concepts and customer integration lab testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the build and development of complex MS-Exchange environments
- Focusing on MS Exchange but with a high likelihood of diversification into other MS Applications
- To work with a cross functional team to design, architect and build repeatable solutions for the field sales organization, partners and customers.
- To work directly with various engineering functions as well as the field
- To define environments and test plans which can provide our client with competitive advantages and support the overall go-to-market/quality of new solutions
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (Technical) or equivalent and 4-6 years work experience in a similar field required
- Previous experience installing, upgrading & configuring Microsoft Exchange 2003 / 2007
- Experience laying out Exchange Server for optimal performance on direct attached and SAN storage
- Experience with Microsoft Load Generator, Jetstress and general performance environment monitoring
- Experience with Exchange Replication & Disaster Recovery, MSCS Clustering, CCR, SCR, Database Portability etc.
- Experience of MS-Exchange Backup, Recovery & Archiving Technologies
- Strong Knowledge of Windows 2003 / 2008 Server, Active Directory, DNS & Networking
- Working knowledge of Virtualization Technologies (VMware Virtual Infrastructure and/or HyperV)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong knowledge of SAN and Network management
- Experience DMX and CX Series a strong advantage
- Experience with Window s 2008 Server, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 / 2008 is desirable
- Basic scripting abilities in VBScript, PowerShell and/or DOS
