Salary €50,000 - €70,000+ Package
The following is a list of key responsibilities:
* Validation Role in Operational Processes
* IS security Incident Handling and Escalation
* Functional Architecture Validation from an IT security Perspective
* Monitoring and Detection of IS security incidents
* Technical Architecture Validation from an IT security Perspective
* Participate in: Implementation of the Corporate Security Manuals
Incident Handling and Escalation
Risk Management
Awareness Development
Interface with Internal Audit and Regulators
* Reporting to Local Management with a dotted line to the Information Security Officer
Knowledge and Experience Required:
* An academic qualification in Information Technology
* Strong technical and or business applications background
* In-depth knowledge of BS7799 / ISO17799, preferably with a previous technical implementation experience
* Proven track record of delivering results in a Financial Services role
* Ability to apply IT security principles to changing technologies
* Self governing and self policing, working within agreed policies
* Proven ability to understand risk management processes
* Flexible approach to working hours as, shift changes, overtime and weekend working may be required at times.
* Ability to plan and manage own scope of work.
